About Sri Satya Sai Baba
Sathya Sai Baba (1926–2011) was a renowned Indian spiritual leader born as Sathyanarayana Raju in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh. Sri Satya Sai Baba is known for teaching universal love, selfless service, forgiveness, interfaith harmony, and human values. He welcomed all, regardless of religion or background, teaching that all faiths lead to the same divine truth.
Sri Satya Sai Baba emphasized that serving humanity is serving God, and that faith and patience are the keys to spiritual transformation. He taught that all religions lead to the same God and emphasized five human values: Truth (Sathya), Right Conduct (Dharma), Peace (Shanti), Love (Prema), and Nonviolence (Ahimsa).
He established a vast network of free schools, colleges, and super-specialty hospitals that provide free education and healthcare, regardless of religion or economic background. Following his passing in 2011, the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization continues worldwide, promoting spiritual growth and community service.
